John is an experienced business and community leader with broad domestic and international experience in business and marketing with a proven record in economic development with an emphasis on downtown revitalization. 

He is currently the new Business Development Officer for Flagship Community Bank, a Division of Clarion County Community Bank serving the expanding Erie Market. 

Prior to this, John worked at the Erie Downtown Partnership and the Gannon University Small Business Development Center where he labored directly with many business and community leaders who make up the Erie and the surrounding communities. He has owned his own business, and worked at other organizations such as Pulakos Chocolates, Channellock and Lord Corporation. 

He holds a B.S. in Communications and is the proud father of two young adult children. He currently serves on the Perry Square Alliance and Groundworks Erie Board of Directors. He is a volunteer business consultant/advisor for ATHENA Powerlink and the Americans for the Competitive Enterprise System (A.C.E.S.), plus he actively participates with the Girard-Lake City Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Girard Inc., and the Fairview Community Council organizations.
